Simon began his career with Lloyd's broker CT Bowring following graduation from Edinburgh University with a degree in modern languages. After gaining valuable experience working in a large broking house, he joined a fledgling Lloyd's insurance broker, which had ambitions in the European insurance arena. Then in 2000, Simon joined the recently created EBA as executive co-director, where he coordinated the repositioning of the company in 2007. Simon is currently at the forefront of EBA's drive to become a innovative, multi-lingual player in the London and European markets. He manages high-level business production, key staff recruitment and new product development.
Tony McCallum ![]()
Tony has worked in the Lloyd’s insurance market, chiefly as a broker, since the 1970s. In the 1980s and 90s he devoted a lot of his time to brokering major reinsurance programs with Lloyd's leaders and London reinsurers for American insurance companies. He has served on the boards of the Bowring Group and Guy Carpenter and Company Limited. He was also a member of the worldwide management committee at Guy Carpenter and Company and on the Lloyd’s Insurance Brokers Committee’s reinsurance sub-committee. Since 1999 he has been involved in a number of insurance-related ventures, including the development of Casualty & General in Gibraltar and EBA in London.
George Lloyd-Roberts ![]()
George has the distinction of being the youngest Lloyd’s underwriter ever. A familiar presence in the Lloyd’s of London building for over 30 years, George has worked as both a broker and an underwriter. He has served on the Committee of Lloyd’s, the Regulatory Board, the Solvency committee and as chairman of the Lloyd’s non-marine underwriters association, as well as a number of other Lloyd’s committees and managing agency boards. George is also a member of the Panel of Arbitrators in the UK and is one of the founders of Casualty & General, a Gibraltar-based insurance company.
Adam Seffens ![]()
Adam joined EBA in 2004, bringing with him 20 years of experience in the London insurance market. He previously worked with brokers Marsh and Aon, and with Lloyd's syndicates Talbot and Beazley. At EBA, Adam manages the firm's technical, compliance and claims requirements. Outside of work, he is discovering the joys of learning to fly.
Alexi de Turckheim

Bilingual Alexi has a degree in economics from Bath University in the UK and a Diploma d'Ecole Superieure de Commerce from Ceram Business School, Sophia Antipolis. He joined EBA in 2007, bringing with him the banking experience he gained working for BNP Paribas and Société Générale in Paris. At EBA he is primarily responsible for helping to manage and carry out broking requirements for the company's French account, as well as developing EBA's electronic underwriting platform.
Alex Johnson ![]()
Associate Director Alex Johnson joined EBA in 2009 from London & European Title Insurance Services where he worked as a business systems analyst and managed a number of major projects. Prior to that, he fulfilled a similar role at Barclays Bank. Alex holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Anglia Ruskin University. When he is not hard at work in the office, he is often to be found cycling around the countryside or practising martial arts, of which he is a keen student.
Raymond Hall
Ray joined EBA in 2005. Formerly the assistant financial controller at Halo Marketing Limited, he is the company secretary and financial controller for EBA.
Giovanni Casabona

Giovanni Casabona received his first taste of the insurance world and the entertainment industry while working for a Lloyd's correspondent in Milan. Now based in London with EBA, he specialises in contingency and personal accident insurance, and also deals with fine arts and general and professional liability. Giovanni was educated at the Universitá Degli Studi di Milano. He is a keen cinema-goer, a hobby that supports his professional interest in contingency insurance for film productions. Giovanni is also a proud supporter of Genoa Football Club, the oldest in Italy.
Jetinder Sehmi ![]()
Jetinder joined EBA in the summer of 2010 as a member of the IT department, having previously worked in a similar position in the publishing industry. He graduated from The University of Essex where he gained both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Computer Science and E-commerce Technology.
When not in the gym Jetinder comes to work.
Pierre Eloi Gilles

After having studied English and Italian at university, Pierre-Eloi had his first experience of insurance in a "general agency" in Nancy, mainly working with AXA but also with various other French insurers. His career continued in Cayenne, French Guiana with a broking firm specialised in construction. Since 2009, Pierre-Eloi joined the EBA French Team.
Giuliana holds a degree in Foreign Languages from Milan Catholic University and a MSc in Marketing and Communication from Rome University. In her 10 years long career she mastered customer satisfaction and superior communication skills within various Customer Service & Sales Dept positions. Giuliana learned to deal with people from a variety of socio-cultural backgrounds, is an enthusiastic person and always keen for new challenges; for this reason she joined EBA where she appreciates the team spirit.

Having Graduated from The University of Nottingham with a BA (Hons) Degree in Business Management with French language, Sam also has a Diploma d'Ecole Supérieure de Commerce from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Rennes, in Brittany. His career to date has included numerous International Sales roles in the Publishing and Real Estate Sectors, whilst also working in the Central London Property market. Sam joined EBA as an intern in September 2010, and in January 2011 he was made a permanent member of the French Department. Outside of work, Sam enjoys socialising, travelling, movies, computer games and playing the following sports such as Football, Tennis and Squash.
Vincent started his career in Lloyd's in 2007 as a casualty broker. He studied at University of Grenoble and then at Ecole Nationale d'Assurances in Paris, after an internship at Sparkasse in Germany. Within the French team he works on the construction account and is also charged with new product development, especially special risks and medical risks. In his spare time, he takes off to the mountains to indulge his passion for rock climbing and winter sports.

Lucia, who is a multilingual enthusiastic young professional, holds a Master's Degree in International Relations and Economics. After a first working experience for another insurance broker in London, she joined EBA bringing here her love for research and creative problem solving skills for any kind of challenge. Thanks to her positive attitude and courteous manners she is also an excellent team player and a valuable support for all European businesses. She loves travelling and meeting new people from different cultures. Furthermore she enjoys singing, especially on karaoke nights with friends, dancing and practicing yoga.

Konstantina
Konstantina has a degree in Economics from the University of Macedonia and is currently studying for her ACCA qualification. Bringing additional efficiency to the accounting team, Konstantina brings much added value, and is highly regarded for her detailed accounts analysis. With claims experience gained while working for Asfalisis Insurance Services we are pleased Konstantina has joined the EBA team.
Allison Winley-Greene

The multi-talented Allison Winley-Greene fulfils a number of roles at EBA, including receptionist and all round office organiser. A fluent Italian speaker, Allison has been with EBA since its early beginnings in 1999. She is very creative and loves to sew, as well as other types of needlework. Allison is a keen walker and can be found exploring the countryside in her spare time.
